Behind Imvelaphi Safaris is Jeanette Vockerodt, a proud South African, nature site guide, and passionate advocate for the remarkable destinations that make South Africa such a sought-after travel destination.
Her love for wildlife, nature, adventure, sport, and the outdoors inspired the creation of Imvelaphi Safaris, a boutique safari and tour operator specialising in bespoke luxury safaris, private tours, and personalised travel experiences for international travellers.
Based in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) in South Africa’s Eastern Cape, Jeanette has dedicated much of her career to sharing the beauty, wildlife, landscapes, and diverse experiences that make South Africa one of the world’s most rewarding destinations to explore.
For Jeanette, travel is about more than simply visiting new places. It is about creating meaningful experiences, discovering remarkable destinations, and helping travellers build lasting memories through authentic South African adventures.
